According to the 2013 United Nations World Happiness Report of 2013, the Netherlands was ranked fourth happiest country in the world. That's one hell of a happy country if you ask me.

Did you know that Dutch isn’t the only national language in the Netherlands? Frisian or Fryslân, the language spoken in the province of Friesland, is too. This isn't very impressive since pretty much every country does this, but I just thought the more you know, the better.

Tallest People in the World

The Dutch are considered to be the tallest people by average. Their average height is six feet which is very tall for a human.

Many scientists believe that the Dutch are so tall because of their natural selection. Usually, when the Dutch are finding mates, they tend to look for tall and well built bodies. This has been happening for centuries resulting in the height the Dutch have today.

Hello again. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ilham Maroof Sutrisno, a student of JIS.

First of all, I would like to thank you for visiting my little website. It means a lot to me that a human being is willing to sacrifice their time(or not), which is one of the most precious resources humans have, to visit a little website made by a student. I'm honoured by that.

Anyway, appreciations aside, I would like to present my goal. My goal with this website is to introduce or familiarize the public to the Netherlands. Starting from the people to the rich history, the breathtaking scenery to the robust and modern architecture. These are an example of Netherland's identity which I like. This small country in located in central Europe is one of the most prominent exampes of European culture, right alongside France and Germany. the land area of the country may be small, but that doesn't mean it isn't interesting to visit.
